Hi, I saw the subculturing method and I understood about poly L lysine coating for maintaining the cells. And I'm wondering if I have to do coating with poly L lysine even in a 96 well plate for some kinds of assays. Without the coating, is it going to be affected to the cells?

  Dear customer,

  Yes, poly-l-lysine must be used to, especially for a 96-well plate. Primary cells generally need a substrate to attach to and the TC coating on the plate or flask is usually not sufficient. Sometimes attachment on 96 –well plates can be challenging, so we would definitely recommend using poly-l-lysine.
